While outspoken and sometimes controversial, Gumbi has amassed a huge following and has the talent and stage persona to back it up!
He has just completed a highly successful, country-wide tour of his latest, riotously funny solo show – ‘The Divorce Tour’ – so look out: he’s so hot right now!
Mojak Lehoko (JHB)
This award-nominated JHB-based comedian/writer is widely considered to be one of the best in the business.
Drawing his inspiration from the dusty streets of the townships as well as the lush greenery of suburbia, he has not only been nominated for a Comics Choice Award for his sterling performances on stage, but an international Emmy for his writing for Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola.
He is also an accomplished actor, MC and voice-over artist.
This man is hilariously funny and most definitely one of the rising stars in the SA entertainment industry!
Long John (Zim)
Long John (real name, Learnmore Mwanyenyeka) is a funny guy!
The last 8 years have seen him rise from “Zimbabwean funnyman” to “acclaimed African comedian”, with sterling performances all over SA and the UK.
He has shared the stage with some of the biggest comics in Africa (Riaad Moosa, Ane Kansiime, Loyiso Gola, to name a few) and is definitely one to watch out for!
Charming, honest and ridiculously funny, the man is a delight to watch!
Arguably one of the funniest entertainers we know…Atkins has been hosting and headlining shows all over Durban for several years now!
He has performed all over the country with some of the biggest names in the industry and is currently preparing for his highly anticipated 3rd one-man show later this year.
The guy is instantly likeable and very entertaining!
He’s been on the Durban Comedy Scene for a couple years now, and already Mo Vawda is showing he has what it takes to build a name in comedy.
With a confident stage presence and clean, well thought-out gags, he is instantly likeable and very funny!
His beat-boxing skills, spot-on accents and hilarious stories have made him popular across all ages and demographics!
Look out: he could be the next big thing!
After a decade in the comedy industry, Green has garnered a reputation as one of SA’s funniest comedians, and is indeed a rising star in the SA comedy industry.
Not only a highly sought-after comedian and accomplished MC, he is also a highly respected East Coast Radio DJ with a growing following!
Green’s sharp wit, commanding stage presence, packed-out one-man shows (‘I’m Ill’) and hilariously honest take on life have won him legions of fans throughout the country.
He recently finished a country-wide tour with 3 of SA’s biggest comedians, as part of the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival’s “Trending Comics”.
Look out for this guy!
The man literally has jokes for days…
