Collection Highlights:

Night Rod Pendant

Tall, slender and glamorous, the Night Rod collection offers dramatic lighting for elegant urban spaces. Long prisms of optical grade glass are held tightly together in a staggered effect, within a skeleton of either plated bronze or natural metal. The triangular shape of the prisms reflects and refracts the light on all sides in a shimmering dance of sparkle.

Available as a pendant in 2 sizes – view the large one here: https://www.weylandts.co.za/product/night-rod-large-pendant-82cm-natural-lampcont1406/  and the small one here: https://www.weylandts.co.za/product/night-rod-small-pendant-natural-lampcont1392/

Design Inspiration for Night Rod:

Night Rod was designed by Timothy Oulton in collaboration with Wayne Chiu, who explains: “The design concept for Night Rod was to come up with a new innovative form using crystal; a traditional material that has been played with over and over in the past. Night Rod uses K9 glass, lighter and clearer than crystal, and reinvents it in a new modern way. We started with the idea of a kaleidoscope, and considered what it would look like from the outside if the inside of this multiple reflection was flipped inside out.”

Inception Mirror

Inspired by infinity mirrors from the 1970s, the Inception collection features a round mirror that transforms once lit up to reveal a seemingly endless line of reflections that appear smaller and smaller as they fade into the distance. When turned off, the mirror has a refined and elegant presence, but once turned on, it’s as though a portal has been opened, leading you and your guests into another dimension. LED antique bulbs create a lighting effect that’s soft and mellow, perfect for evening entertaining; a spectacular showcase of artistry and drama.
