Here’s a grand idea for golfers. Pack up your clubs and head down to the Cape, for the first ever Cape Town Golf Festival.

You’ll play on four renowned golf courses – Durbanville, Clovelly, Milnerton and Royal Cape, event participants are capped, Plus … prizes to the value of R200,000 are up for grabs. A package has been put together for those keen to take part, which includes accommodation at the Commodore Hotel at the V&A Waterfront, as well as golf apparel – a golf shirt, cap, balls and gloves. The Golf Festival package includes six nights’ accommodation at The Commodore Hotel (bed and breakfast), an opening cocktail function and prize-giving gala dinner, four rounds of golf, return transport to golf courses, a lunch braai at Middelvlei Wine Estate Stellenbosch, and costs R9 815.00 per person sharing (packing excluding hotel is R4 925).
