Teletubbies 20th Anniversary Plush Series Toys Arrive in SA

A new range of Teletubbies toys has arrived in South Africa based on the well-known BBC channel’s CBeebies TV series. The Teletubbies TV show has been watched in 1 billion homes in over 100 countries in the past 20 years. Teletubbies fans will be pleased to know that their favourite cute and cuddly characters Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are now available for them to take home in a whole new plush range.

Lallaby Laa-Laa is the perfect toy to gently sing your baby to sleep with classic lullabies such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  This super soft cuddly toy has a gentle light that shines when you press her tummy. You also have the option of choosing how long Laa-Laa gets to sing – either 5, 10 or 15 minutes.

The Talking Plush toy is available in all four Teletubbies characters, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po. When you gently press the plush toy’s tummy you can hear them talk and make sound effects. This is the ideal companion for your toddler.

The new range also introduces the Laughing Giggle Plush toy, which is available in Po and Laa-Laa characters. It is very soft to the touch.  When you tickle the toy, it laughs and giggles – the more you tickle them the more they giggle.

Jumping Po is also part of the plush series, she jumps and bounces and really personifies happiness. She is perfect for your child to cuddle when they go to sleep or to jump around with during playtime.

Teletubbies plush toys are created especially for toddlers and young children aged 18 months and older. Little ones will be delighted to add the latest plush Teletubbies to their toy box.

Teletubbies are available at leading toy stores and retailers. For more information, visit www.Prima Toys.co.za

Its time to READ competition

A wise man once quipped: Creativity is contagious. Pass it on. Albert Einstein certainly knew what he was speaking about, and when it comes to encouraging creativity and imagination in our youth, just think of the untold treasure, waiting to be discovered!

Glad to go camping

The kids are on their mid-year hols and a camping weekend’s on the cards. Woo hoo.

How are you enjoying your Cadbury Breakaway?

Chocolate wrapped and filled wafer. On a chilly winter night, there’s really not much more we want than this, a mug of coffee and a good book.

Buon appetito!

With nothing but a suitcase full of dreams and her faithful friend ‘the cello’, Cecilia Di Cecco left Italy to work as a musician with the KZNPO in Durban. Here she learnt to cultivate her music and at the same time began a love affair with food that eventually led to the recent launch of her first cookbook, Cucina in South Africa.
